Colenimo is a UK-based fashion label that was created in 2007 when designer Aya Nakagawa moved to London to pursue her fashion career.
“Our aim is to create timeless, elegant, quality clothing. We love traditional fabrics, strong women, modern shapes and vintage details”, the brand states.
Although creator Aya attended Tokyo Mode Fashion University and worked in Tokyo for over eight years, the brand is fiercely dedicated to its home country. Not only are all of the fabrics sourced in England, but woven pieces are also produced in London and the buttons are all British made.
Since Colenimo’s creation, the brand has gained a large following from all around the world, and has even been featured in a number of prominent publications such as Elle, Frankie, Grazia and Stella.
