Featured Artist: Catherine Nolan


It is quite rare to stumble upon an artist as talented and unique as Catherine Nolan. After breathing the Californian air for eight years, she now calls Sydney in Australia home.

Besides painting and drawing, Catherine lists her other passions as drinking tea, making things, going walking, collecting amazing tiny things, and enjoying the blessings of her beautiful family and friends.

She states, "Inspiration is found in the natural world, and in colour, pattern, textiles and beauty... in  forms expected and unexpected".

Catherine studied printmaking, graphics and textiles at The Australian National University School of Art, and she states that her passion "is for hand made things, and I prefer to make my work using real-world materials, rather than on a computer".
