Featured Photographer: Miao Long
Miao Long is a freelance photographer based in Sydney, Australia and her portfolio includes a whole range of mediums, including art photography, portraits, landscape photography, digital art and graphic design.
Miao states that it was in 2007 that she began experimenting with photography and editing images, and since then her passion, and career, has truly grown.
"At first I started shooting photos for friends and family in my free time. Then I began to find models, makeup artists and hair dressers from modelmayhem.com, organizing photoshoots and turning my apartment into a studio for portrait shoots. Now I have uploaded more than 500 images and designs onto istockphoto," Miao said.
Miao's work tells stories of fairytales, as well as other worlds and cultures. It is easy to slightly lose touch with reality, as her unique and beautiful works are like nothing you have seen before.
