An Introduction to Some of Our Favourite Blogs

You may have noticed a few new pictures have joined the sidebar of the Whim Online Magazine website. These are some of our most favourite, and inspiring websites. So here's an introduction to each one, as well as the reasons why Whim loves them so much:

What a Night Events:

What a Night Events is run by the extremely talented Emma, and she is someone who is always more than willing to help us out with events and styling-related content for not only our website, but our digital magazine editions as well. What a Night Events is a Sydney-based events company, and if you follow What a Night Events on Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, or visit the blog and website regularly, you will notice the regular posts of both ideas and inspiration for just about any celebration. We're also a huge fan of What a Night Event's new lolly buffet, and cannot wait to hire one out for ourselves.

Spoonful of Vintage:

Whim Online Magazine has been following this wonderful blog from the moment it popped up in the comments of one of our own blog posts. Run by the lovely Amie from New Zealand, Spoonful of Vintage contains inspirational content, including Amie's personal style, home decor, photography, DIY, vegetarian food, and Amie's own whimsical adventures. Amie states, "I love living a creative and affordable life inspired by all things vintage and retro", and here at Whim, we couldn't think of a lovelier way to live!

Swing The Day Away:

Swing The Day Away documents the life of the very stylish Sara. Sara lives on the shoreline in New England and she loves exploring new places around her hometown and going on little adventures. Sara always inspires us to want to take trips of our own to the seaside and the countryside. We love her vintage-inspired fashion, as well as her always inspiring and beautiful photographs. Sara's positive outlook and love of life is infectious, making this blog a fantastic, regular read.

Amelie's Little Secrets:

Stumbling upon this wonderful blog opened up a whole new world of beauty and inspiration. Amelie's Little Secrets is run by the always lovely Cristi, a self-confessed dreamer and vintage lover who "gets lost in imaginary worlds". Cristi has written the most beautiful 'About Me' page, and we absolutely love her list of interests, including the quotes: "Loves dusty attics, cameras, retro style, books and bowties.

Has an affection for polka dots, florals, pastels and DIY projects.

Likes reading, writing letters, travelling, taking photos, second hand bookstores, antique books, vintage shops & dresses, flea markets, retro cafes, cupcakes, butterflies, bicycles, park benches, vinyls and quotations."
