Lonely Hunter Market at Newtown Social Club

Hello! I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. As some of you may already know, Whim attended the first ever Lonely Hunter Market in Newtown yesterday. Lonely Hunter is a monthly craft market for design loving folk on the hunt for the best in handmade. The market was started by two friends, Claire and Courtney, with the aim of creating an event that would connect "design-loving folk with crafty creators". The best bit is that both Claire and Courtney are also lovers of all things crafty themselves, and you can view their handmade goods at the market.
It was wonderful to see such an impressive showcase of local creative talent, and I highly recommend to anyone living in the Sydney area that they drop by for the next market day on the 31st August (that's also the release date of the Spring Issue of Whim - super exciting!)
Over the next week, we will be taking a more in-depth look at some of Whim's most favourite stall holders from the event, so stay tuned for some handmade and creative goodness coming your way! Until then though, you can check out the Lonely Hunter Market website for more information.
Best wishes,
Melanie (Editor)
