You can imagine how delighted we were to receive this beautiful Snow White themed photoshoot in our inbox recently. The inspiration behind this shoot is simple - photographer Marie, from lilelements, wanted to explore the concept of bridal wear and weddings through the much-loved fairytale theme. Marie noticed the popular theme of Alice in Wonderland inspired shoots, and thought she would try something a little different. We're so glad she did, because we love the deep red colour palette amongst the beautiful garden scenery.
The photographer also provides us with the story behind the shoot, stating, "the shoot starts with Snow White getting ready for the ball and putting on her makeup. Snow White is taking a stroll out in the woodlands as she stumbled upon a vast array of desserts and cakes fit for a queen. The forest has also set out their display of greens and reds for the fairest of them all."
We love the gorgeous styling of the shoot, thanks to the very talented Ruffles Bells, as well as the stunning gowns and accessories by Vellos Bridal, worn by lovely model Nicole Johnson. And of course, no fairytale princess is complete without her deep red lips and smouldering eyes (thanks Morena Abellar and Kapesa Chatterjee!). And of course, we couldn't forget the amazing props, flowers and sweets provided too.
You can see more of the work by any of the talented vendors mentioned above by clicking to go straight through to their website. We would also like to say a big thank you to Marie from lilelements for sending us this beautiful shoot!
