Event: Box Hill Institute's Centre for Creative Industries ALLEGORY Exhibition

If you're living in (or currently visiting) Melbourne, then we've got a pretty wonderful event for you to go and see! Box Hill Institute's Centre for Creative Industries is proud to invite you to attend ALLEGORY, the graduate exhibition of the Whitehorse Jewellery class of 2013.
"Exploring both classic and contemporary jewellery making techniques and materials, the group of ten emerging jewellery designers will showcase a curated collection of their jewellery and object-based narratives. Manifestations of the abstract and intimate, the playful and profound; the graduate works are diverse dialogues of the next generation of contemporary jewellery design."
As soon as one of our favourite emerging jewellery designers (Megan from Emgee) told us about the event, we just knew we had to share it, as it sounds like a fantastic exhibition of some of the unique talent soon to emerge into the creative spotlight. We also highly recommend that you check out Megan's whimsical designs (such as that amazing seahorse and seashell crown featured above) by visiting her Emgee Facebook page
The ALLEGORY Exhibition is on show from the 6th - 17th of November, and the opening night will be held on the 7th of November from 6 - 9 p.m. The amazing jewellery pictured above (plus so many more designs) will be on show at the No Vacancy Gallery, QV Melbourne, so make sure you drop in for a visit! To view more information about the event or to support the Whitehorse Jewellery class of 2013, you can head over to their Facebook page and give it a 'like'. Enjoy!
