Featured Photographer: Celeste Ortiz
What a lovely way to celebrate the weekend with these sun-drenched and beautiful photographs from Celeste Ortiz. Celeste is a young photographer based in San Antonio, Chile, who states: "My work focuses on self-portraiture, with an intimate and feminine approach."
The talented photographer's work has been featured in an impressive number of exhibitions and publications (see here for a full list), so we were honoured when Celeste emailed Whim introducing her breathtaking photography to us.
We love that the photographer's work celebrates the nostalgia and unpredictability of analogue photography - something which we find refreshing in a digitally-dominated world of art. Celeste inspires us to load our own vintage cameras with film, ready to set out for the day capturing whatever pretty things we find along the way.
