Featured Artist: Katie Webber
Katie Webber is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Visual Communications at Billy Blue College of Design and she resides in Brisbane, Australia. The talented artist is able to balance her full-time study with her passion for art, as she creates work in her spare time.
Katie explains: "Attending design school helps me perfect my design skills, it also allows me to explore my limitations as a designer. Whilst drawing helps me to escape my mind and explore my often unusual imagination."
Katie describes her work as clean and minimal, stating that it is "fluid in artistic nature and often contains surrealistic elements." We love Katie's use of watercolour, as well as the bright pops of colour and her unique take on everyday subjects, such as people, animals and food.
