'Star Dust': A Photographic Series by Molly Strohl
Having the ability to capture beautiful and thought-provoking images can be a real challenge for most, but freelance photographer Molly Strohl has certainly mastered this fine art. At the tender age of just 20 years old, this American Art and Design student has been blending her photography and Photoshop skills since 2011 to create images that simply take your breath away.
Her 2013 series “Star Dust” draws upon the cosmic allure of the night’s sky, depicting the ways in which the “huge, burning masses in space are connected to the fragile human body.” The juxtaposition of everyday moments and objects against the glittering celestial overlays give these photographs an almost magical quality. Molly herself made this conscious creative decision in order to demonstrate “how we are just as unique as a bright star thousands of light years away”.
To view this series along with the rest of Molly’s incredible pieces of photographic genius, head to Molly Strohl’s website and make sure you ‘like’ her page on Facebook while you’re at it. We can guarantee these inspiring images will leave you speechless.
