Featured Photoshoot: 'On Jubilee Street' by Photographer Thomas Cole Simmonds

We've been fans of Thomas Cole Simmonds' photography for a while now, keeping up-to-date with the talented photographer's stunning images through his Facebook page and Instagram in particular. Therefore, you can imagine our excitement when this beautiful series of images landed in our inbox.

The 24-year-old resides in the city of Brighton in the south of England, and he describes himself as a fashion and portrait photographer. You may remember Thomas' work from the Summer Issue of Whim Online Magazine, where the photographer was also responsible for shooting the gorgeous image for Beauxoxo's advertisement. Thomas has also had his work appear in numerous impressive publications, such as Golden Age Magazine, Quiescent Magazine, Coco Magazine and Ballad Of (just to name a selected few!).

What we love the most about 'On Jubilee Street' is the fact that the images are devoid of colour, allowing us to see that sometimes it can have more of an impact to strip the images back to the bare essential - the contrast between black and white. We imagine a dreary morning and a daring, dressed-all-in-black young woman ready to seize the day, even if it means a little mischief along the way (like testing her balance on the edge of a fountain and sitting on window ledges to capture the view). We also love model Atma A's carefree attitude, her slightly dishevelled white-blonde hair and her love of lace.
