Featured Photographer: Rafael Mesa
Photographer Rafael Mesa's images are more than just pretty girls captured on camera; his images have the ability to transport us to another realm. Based in Venezuela, Rafael states that he is "Always immersed in the world of image and visual aesthetics."
Rafeal did not initially set out to become a photographer, as he explains that the medium was simply another tool he used to accompany his design work. His passion for photography soon evolved, and Rafeal is now primarily dedicated to the art form. Rafael's unique talent shines through each and every image in his portfolio, so much so that his work has gained the attention of numerous international publications.
The photographer utilises a variety of formats, including digital, 35mm film and instant film. Rafael enjoys shooting a wide range of genres, including retro, avant-garde, alternative, vintage, glamour, conceptual, and fashion (to name a few), and he admits "Women [are] the most beautiful subject" to photograph.
