Featured Photographer: Glenda Lissette
Dreamy, inspirational and other-wordly are just some of the words that spring to mind when we explore the portfolio of the very talented Glenda Lissette. Based in Chicago, IL, the 19-year-old photographer enjoys capturing self-portraits, as well as mixing painting, sewing, and collage with her images.
Glenda says that she received her first camera on her 15th birthday, and since then she has never left home without it. "I believe that my purpose is to capture. I’m filled with wanderlust & love exploring new places," she explains.
When the talented individual isn't taking pictures, she also enjoys an array of other creative pursuits, including: sculpture, jewelry, drawing, dancing, & crown making. Glenda also lists estate sales, summer nights, Wes Anderson movies, pink hair and old cameras among her favourite things, and one cannot help but notice elements of Glenda's inspirations in her gorgeous photography work.
Having to choose only a selection of Glenda's images to showcase on the website today was extremely difficult, as each and every image taken by the talented photographer fills us with awe and provides us with a sense of wanderlust and positive energy.
