Featured Lookbook: Leah Goren Scarf Collection F/W 2014
Brooklyn-based illustrator and designer Leah Reena Goren is pushing the limits when it comes to her innovative creative ventures. If a range of exquisite drawings and illustrations wasn’t enough, she has now taken these prints to the fashion world in the production of her Fall/Winter 2014 Scarf Preview Collection.
Graduating from the Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2012, Leah has poured her skills and passion into this latest project with some mighty impressive results. Her first lookbook features a beautiful variety of hand-drawn prints, unique floral patterns as well as some of Leah’s trademark drawings. The techniques used in this process are truly impressive, with each scarf showcasing a gorgeous trademark illustration digitally printed onto the fabric itself.
The sweet, dreamy creations that Leah produces have seen her gain some notable attention, with one of her stunning works featured as the cover art for the current Frankie Magazine (Issue 59). We know you will all be desperate to sneak a glimpse at Leah’s illustrations for yourself, so make sure to click through to her website and Facebook page for a dose of inspiring, hand-drawn magic.
