Featured RAW Sydney Artist: White Bird Art & Design
Life is all about experiences and moments that cause our hearts to race and ache. But these human emotions aren't meant to be encountered along. Lamice and Myra, an emerging Sydney-based creative duo, sought to draw upon this notion in the creation of their art house 'White Bird Art & Design'.
Their extensive range of hand-drawn illustrations and sketches are designed to be shared, spread between loved ones, relatives and friends. Lamice with pen and pencil in hand, and Myra's graphic designer know-how have seen something truly special unfold. It is not often that a pairing of two individual artists can produce such a display of humble beauty, but these two have certainly seen that occur.
The establishment of 'White Bird Art & Design', in the words of the girls themselves, began with "the simple intention of bringing to life art in the form of paper goods that can be shared with loved ones." Since then, this label has gone on to open a highly successful Etsy store, helping to spread a little of this whimsical magic even further across the globe.
