Featured Etsy Store: The Slow Catwalk

The Slow Catwalk Handmade was born from popular blog The Slow Catwalk, which is the first (and only) Italian eco fashion blog focused on sustainable brands and craftsmanship. Created by the very talented Sandra, the Etsy store features beautiful, chunky knits, as well as handmade scarves, crochet bags, phone covers and neck warmers (to only name a few!)
The Slow Catwalk Handmade was opened in October 2013 as a platform for Sandra to sell her works made with organic yarn, soybean and milk fibres or with the vintage wool, buttons and zippers that come from the good condition stock of her grandfather's old shop, which closed in the '80s.
"Everything is made by me and I love every single moment of the creation," says Sandra, and her passion for sustainable and eco-friendly garments and objects is clearly evident in both her blog and Etsy store.
We highly recommend that you support environmentally friendly creators such as Sandra, and we know that you will find her blog to be inspirational and informative. You can also visit Sandra's Etsy store here to view her beautiful array of items - You're sure to find something you love - and you can check out some behind-the-scenes images of the creation process by following The Slow Catwalk on Instagram
