Practice makes perfect, and by the looks of it Sydney-based photographer Lauren White is on the right track to success. Since taking her first tentative steps into the world of photography as a bright-eyed 17 year old in 2008, Lauren has continued to grow and evolve as an artist in recent years. With a Certificate IV in Photo Imaging as well as a Bachelor of Photography at Raffles International College of Design and Commerce currently underway, it appears that big things are ahead for this budding creative talent.
In her latest shoot ‘Apache’, Lauren showcases just what makes her such as unique photographer. Set again the backdrop of cascading sandy hills, the series features a range of earthly, untamed and effortless shots. Experimenting with locations, costume and light and shade is something Lauren thrives off, constantly seeking to push herself creatively to achieve the most captivating images. Lauren herself speaks of the time and energy she has devoted to her work, stating "I spend as much of my free time as I can taking photos - mostly of friends and family at parties."
