We've got some amazing news for our readers based in Brisbane - Emerge Australia is launching Australia's very first all day open-air Fashion Precinct at the 2014 Teneriffe Festival, which will take place on Saturday July 5th!
When it comes to describing what visitors to the Teneriffe Festival can expect, who better than the event organisers to explain it in perfect detail?
"Now in its fifth year, the Teneriffe Festival remains one of the State’s most prominent - and stylish - events, a position to be further-reinforced by bringing on industry experts Emerge Australia to curate a fashion program showcasing local designers and key fashion commentators.
Offering a captivating fashion experience, the Emerge Australia Fashion Precinct will host the best of the best in creative industry talent, sourced both locally and nationally. Throughout the day, Emerge will deliver a series of mesmerising runway events and creative workshops, all with an interactive approach to showcase the diverse and creative components that make up the fashion industry.
Delivering unique insight to the world of fashion across the course of seven individual runway events, Emerge have assembled a program encompassing accessories, shoes and bags, emerging designers, swim and resort wear, Woolmark and winter collections, established designers and boutique, sustainable styling and avant-garde hairstyling and make-up.
This year’s festival will change the way the design community collaborates and showcases. Emerge Australia is doing what they do best: raising the bar, innovating and inventing and all the while supporting the immense local talent in Queensland.
