Featured Photographer: Stefania Sammarro
Stefania Sammarro, or Ania Lilith as she often likes to be called, is a 26-year-old fine-art and travel photographer from Cosenza, Italy. Her love of fairytales and dream realms is evident in her ethereal photographs, all of which evoke a sense of mystery, intrigue and awe.
Stefania explains: "Photography is an art that merely capture reality as it is... It allows you to turn it into a vortex of mirrors. Reality and fiction mix constantly in a photograph. The eye does not just play, but recreates colours, souls, emotions and sensations separate from time and reality.”
The talented photographer is inspired by her memories, nature and atmosphere created through music and film, and her photographic journey began back in 2006. After studying her first photography course shortly after, Stefania states that "there was no turning back."
