Featured Photoshoot: 'Saltwater Sarah' by Maddie Mills
We're sure we're not the only ones looking at this shoot right now and craving a little trip to the seaside! Photographed by the very talented Maddie Mills, today's featured photoshoot showcases Mother Nature in all of her raw beauty.
Shot on the coastline in Newfoundland, Maddie states, "It's called 'Saltwater Sarah' because I drew inspiration from my home, Newfoundland (In Canada) where the photos were shot - and also from two songs native to our island that speak about themes that I wove through the shoot."
Maddie further explains: "With this shoot I wanted to portray a very strong woman who was showing her apprehensive husband her home and helping him to feel comfortable. Generally in male/female shoots men have a dominant role but I wanted the woman to come across [as] very powerful and sure of herself, while being nurturing."
