Shot at Studio 19 in Wollongong, these beautiful images showcase local online boutique Cocomae. Perfectly showered in sunlight, Studio 19 is an Art Gallery and Creative Loungeroom set in a charming building dating back to the 1930’s, and we think it is the perfect location for this shoot.

The talented photographer behind the lens is Joy Augustyn from Joy of Light Photography. The inspirational soul states: "I’ve been entranced by photography since I was a child. I’ve always loved looking at old photographs. It’s only been recently; since I gave birth to my son that I’ve been driven to take my passion to the next level & do it professionally. I want him to know that it is possible to live your dreams."

Joy has an advanced diploma in fine arts with majors in photography and painting, proving that both her talent and passion extends beyond the medium of photography alone. When it comes to Joy's love of photography though, she explains: "I love lifestyle and environmental portraiture. I have a soft spot for capturing people naturally, their connections and their beauty, but I also enjoy working with people who have a vision. I really enjoy helping people manifest their ideas...I adore working with natural light, especially late afternoon light. I love how the hue and tone changes, from a beautiful warm gold and deep shadows to muted pastel tones. Seeing my images in print absolutely makes my day. There’s nothing like being able to hold those images in your hand and study them, hang them on the wall and admire them, make them real and tangible."

We encourage you to view more wonderful work by Joy through visiting her website (which is coming soon!) and keeping up-to-date with her blog and Facebook page. Enjoy!
