Kasia Korobczuk’s portraits exude a traditional British charm; taking her inspiration from the rugged moors of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, Kasia’s photoshoot 'Purple Love' is reminiscent of her English home in Suffolk.

Kasia’s connection to nature shines through her work as her photographs allow nature to take precedence. With soft natural light dancing off the model’s softly curled hair as she sinks into a bed of flowers, Kasia emphasises the inseparable connection between humans and nature. She clearly loves her beautiful surroundings.

But Kasia’s photography is also bound in a sense of nonconformity and difference. Just as Wuthering Heights, the novel that inspired Purple Love, traversed the English countryside with danger and mystery, Kasia’s Purple Love cuts through the British charm. As the model gazes defiantly into the camera, she is complemented by such a vibrant colour palette. Her bright red hair and green eyes contrast brilliantly with the striking purple heath in the background. This hints at Kasia’s independent streak.

“I’m very happy to have my own, different style,” she states on her website, alluding to the balance between 18th Century England and thoroughly modern photography techniques that are present in her Purple Love.
