22 year-old Charmaine de Heij has found in photography a means to create her own personal visual diary, documenting stories she hears and things she sees, along with thoughts, hopes and fears.

Her photoshoot ‘Sisters’, featuring Sam and Ruby Macnack, is absolutely enchanting. We love the beautiful natural setting and the feminine and delicate wardrobe, made of pastel colours and lovely flower crowns.

The girls’ essence is stunningly captured against the simplicity of the green background. Despite their young age, we get an air of maturity, mystery and dreaminess. We are captivated by their presence; playful innocence tinted with depth and intensity.
