When ominous rain clouds threatened to wash Leighanne Deeney’s striking photoshoot away, her hopes were almost dashed. However as the afternoon was drawing to a close, the sky cascaded golden light upon Leighanne’s shoot, allowing her to capture the natural photographs.

The golden ray of sunshine that made “Touch ofGold” possible glistens around the edges of Leighanne Deeney’s photographs. This vibrant summer light dances off the leaves and trees, almost mocking the ominous darkness that came before.

But, perfectly counterbalancing the golden light is a hint of the storm’s darkness. Model Caylie poses clad in just her underwear, her unkempt hair tumbling in front of her face. The overgrown meadow could be concealing hidden dangers, unseen in the midst of the long grasses.

At just twenty, Leighanne holds an inspiring amount of dedication which allowed these beautiful photographs to come to light. Living in Oceanside California, fashion photographer Leighanne is carefree, following her photographic passions to gain these perfect shots. “A little rain never killed anyone,” she says, exemplifying her tenacity and persistence.

Like the afternoon sun breaking through tumultuous grey clouds, Leighanne adds a vibrant gold to the otherwise dark scenes.
