Etsy Australia and David Jones have teamed up together to bring some Christmas sparkle and cheer to all of us this December, and if you live in Sydney, you’re in for an extra special treat!
Unwrap Etsy at David Jones Elizabeth St store will run from the evening of Thursday 4 December - Sunday 7 December and it will be an experience like no other. Customers will be able to shop from Australian Etsy makers, witness the creation of their goods in a live maker’s studio, and participate in creative workshops – Could it get any better? (Trust us, it does, so keep reading!)
“Drop by On Seven at David Jones while doing your Christmas shopping, and discover unexpected art, homewares, and gifts from over 40 Australian Etsy makers. Book in for a hands-on creative workshop, watch Etsy sellers create their goods at the live making demonstrations or just stop by for a drink and bite while soaking up the artful atmosphere,” the website explains.
This incredible event is completely free to attend, but you’ll have to register ASAP to gain access. Get in quick and click here to join in on the Etsy festivities on any evening between Thursday 4 December - Sunday 7 December!
We’re so excited for this event as an array of our favourite Etsy sellers will be there showcasing their one-of-a-kind goods (some of which we have featured in the images above). Some of these artists will include previous RAW Sydney Artist Carmen Hui of Drawn by Carmen, as well as Mrs Peterson Pottery (who we’ve had the lovely pleasure of meeting before), Maker and Merchant, Belinda Saville, Billy and Scarlet, and Wolfgang and Rose to only name a few! Over the 4-day event, there will be various workshops and activities such as Make a Dreamcatcher, Fashion Illustration Live, Make Your Own Tea Blend, Working with Watercolours, Make a Zine and so, so much more – Please be sure to check out the full event program here to see which activities interest you the most and to book your attendance for free.
