Combining delicate clothing with a deep, fiery colour palette, this photo shoot for Ukranian clothing line Marchi is visually magnetic, engaging and challenging our thoughts and senses.

“Inspiration Degeneration” is a project that springs from the deepest “diseased consciousness,” according to its photographer, Arsenii Gerasymenko. Styled by Anna Egorova, the photoshoot is an edgy insight to the darker corners of the human imagination, wherein humanity is explored and debated.

Arsenii’s photography portfolio is a wealth of images that describe humanity; each portrait is flooded with emotion and meaning. “Inspiration Degeneration” is no different, as Arsenii uniquely showcases the attitude of the Ukranian clothing line. He taps into Marchi’s “bright individual character,” and displays clothing that plays a “game of prints and textures.”

The skilled photographer describes the images as capturing “the blooming triumph of the fade.” They show us a faded consciousness, with model Mila, doll-like and broken, posing before the fiery backdrop, stripped of her human nature.
