Based in Berlin, Sebastian Hilgetag’s beautiful photography almost floats off the page in the midst of an ethereal dream. A perfectly balancing softness with a touch of risqué, Sebastian’s photoshoot, 'Lust Lust Lust' is a subtle nod toward an edgy wedding day.

Indeed, there is some danger in Sebastian’s photography. His portfolio displays the dark depth that is only hinted at in this photo shoot. Here, we see the drama from 'Lust Lust Lust' in full force, with shadows darting across the photographs to create an edge, an unbalance.

'Lust Lust Lust' only hints at this darkness. The model is wearing bold, sharp and well-defined makeup; the dramatic smoky eye shadow and coral lip, combined with the model’s stare into the camera hint at some danger lurking in the shadows.

Predominant in these beautiful photographs is their delicacy, their softness. Sebastian has captured a series of dreamy pastel colours, delicate lace and perfect florals: all the elements that could make up a perfect wedding day.

As the model slips into reverie on the luscious green grass, the pastels overtake the dark and we are taken into the ethereal wedding landscape.
