Jonathan Coates of J S Coates Photography must have read our minds when he submitted this magical, Christmas-inspired photoshoot, because it was just what we were looking for to add some festive cheer to the blog!

"With Christmas around the corner, my mind has been dwelling on elves, Santa and Cola adverts and I really wanted to do a shoot with a festive tinge. After a little brainstorming I had the idea of a woman decorating a Christmas tree out in the wild. Rather than hunt the local wooded areas for a tree that would work, my wife and I we came up with the idea of calling a local Christmas tree farm and seeing if we could shoot there. The owner of Friezeland Farm welcomed the idea and we set a date," explains Jonathan.
