Glancing at the latest campaign from Bali-based jewellery brand, Amari Kartini, one cannot help but feel awe-struck by its spectacular beauty. Draped in goddess-like gowns and adorned in some of the most beautiful jewellery we’ve ever seen, the model embraces her gentle-eyed giant.

With this campaign shoot taking place in Bali, Indonesia, Amari Kartini could not have chosen a more fitting location. “[Bali is] a mystical island which provided the perfect backdrop for showcasing the opulent beauty and intricate detailing of the pieces, the craftmanship and the romance of travel and adventure which inspired the collection”, the label states.

It appears as though this romance of travel has always influenced the stunning label, as it was whilst wandering along the backstreets of Kathmandu that the label’s Creative Director and Head Designer Rachel Griffin first had the idea to pursue her dream.

“Cobble paved streets, a potter at his wheel, stone carvers and market stalls overflowing with ancient treasures; I was awed by the lineage of artisans all around me,” Rachel explains.

Amari Kartini isn’t just an incredibly beautiful label producing high-quality and unique jewellery – it also has pretty big dreams, as well as the desire to spread love and encouragement wherever it can.

The Amari Kartini vision is one that we can all relate to and aspire towards – “a world in which every woman can unleash her true potential and be inspired to lead her own development.”

The label also celebrates the family unit as a whole, choosing to work directly with skilled artisan families in the Middle East and Asia in order to produce one-off handcrafted pieces to the finest international quality. Through this co-creation, Amari Kartini celebrates the incredible skill and creative expression of these talented communities.

This label is certainly one to look up to, as it values concepts such as integrity, respect, accountability and creativity. Amari Kartini not only aims to improve our positive impact on the world, but it also desires to decrease the negative impact left on the Earth through utilising ethically sourced materials and production processes.

It is safe to say that the label’s products reflect the beauty of their values; from gold rings containing Ancient Egyptian inspired designs to textile-incorporated earrings, gold-adorned carved bone necklaces and hand-woven bracelets (just to name a few!)
