Here's something you might not know - I'm quite obsessed with bridal beauty and fashion and could stare at wedding-themed photo shoots or bohemian, white lace dresses for hours on end. I even write about bridal beauty and fashion over on WoodsyWeddings.com (a stunning website focused on outdoor weddings which has only fuelled my love of this topic!).

When an email from ModCloth drew my attention to the online boutique's incredibly pretty wedding section (along with encouragement to blog about it), I got very excited.

Below I have rounded up three (I could've picked hundreds) of my favourite dresses from ModCloth's wedding dress section - including dresses which are both suitable for the bride-to-be or bridesmaid:

The Virelay Vision Dress ($188) would make a perfect 'alternative' wedding dress for brides who want to be a little more unique, or it could even be a stunning bridesmaid dress for those who want to keep their colour scheme fairly neutral. I love the elaborate detail on the hem as well as the embroidered designs on the mesh. A wedding would be a fantastic occasion to wear such a feminine and flouncy frock!

I am in love with this All Roads Lead to Romance dress ($80)! I recently saw the prettiest editorial in a wedding magazine featuring a dress incredibly similar to this one. This dress would also be great for a non-traditional bride who wants to add a little bit more colour to their wedding ensemble, or it would also be fantastic worn as a bridesmaid dress - Imagine how pretty and summery that soft yellow colour would look in your photos!

I also chose this Elegance for Daisies Dress ($295) because when I dream of bridesmaids dresses, I imagine them in lovely shades of pastel mint, purple or pink. As you can probably already tell from my previous two choices, I am a huge fan of floral motifs or embellishments on dresses, so this daisy-adorned neckline ticks all of the boxes! Just imagine your bridesmaids in this picture-perfect dress (I've heard that this image doesn't even do it justice it's that pretty)!
