Another unique thing about this boutique tea company is the fact that each of the handmade herbal blends are made in small batches with high turnover, meaning that you are getting the freshest, most delicious tea every time.

I recently received a little package from Pint of Tea consisting of 3 of their most popular blends: 'zzzTEA' 'HappyTEA' and 'AphroTEAsiac'. Needless to say, it's been one of the most beneficial and fun reviews I've ever done!

The first blend I tried was the 'zzzTEA' which is a delightful combination of catnip (not just for cats!), chamomile, hops, lemon balm, lemon verbena, passiflora, scullcap, peppermint and vervain. These lovely herbs combine to assist the drinker with a deep and natural sleep come bedtime and it also aims to "relax the smooth muscles of the body" and "relax the nerves and calm the mind". The calming properties of these herbs certainly allowed me to feel less tense and any jittery nerves from running around like a madwoman on Friday were slowly dispelled.

The flavours of peppermint and lemon balm really came through when I first tasted this tea and both of these flavours really gave the tea a lovely 'pep'!

The next blend I tried was was the 'AphroTEAsiac' (there's a few blends with wonderful puns like this one!) and I have to say this was one of my most favourite teas out of the three. I loved its deep pink-red colouring, as well as the dainty little rose petals found in the blend.

This tea contains damiana, hibiscus, passionflower, rose petals and lemongrass, and all of these flavours combined to create a delicious tea! Not only did the blend taste great though, but it also aids with allowing the body to relax and unwind, as well as stimulating mild feelings of euphoria and balancing hormones.

I think out of all 3 blends, I was most excited to try the HappyTEA. Not only is the packaging super happy in itself with every colour of the rainbow, but a combination of ingredients including yarrow, rose petals, borage, lavender, passiflora, lemongrass and oatstraw sounded intriguing (and delicious!).

This tea is designed to assist with some incredible things, including: dispelling feelings of melancholy, relieving stress and fighting fatigue, supporting the liver and helping boost immunity, as well as potentially assisting in relieving tension headaches caused by stress. As someone who isn't a stranger to the frequent tension headache (slouching over a keyboard for hours probably doesn't help!), I knew this herbal blend would benefit me the most. This tea also has the prettiest loose leaf blend, as the rose petals and lavender give it such a lovely colour.

.

All in all, I'm so grateful to have been introduced to the wonderful tea boutique that is Pint of Tea and I love the fact that their tea not only aims to improve the drinker's lifestyle, but each blend is also made from 100% organic ingredients.

I encourage fellow tea-lovers to head on over to the Pint of Tea website to see their full range - At just $9.95 for a very generously-sized bag, they're a steal! You can also follow Pint of Tea on Facebook and Instagram. Enjoy!
