Introducing Emerge Australia + Fashion Label Allure Collections

One company that not only shares this view but takes it to inspiring new heights is Emerge Australia, a Melbourne based boutique fashion company.

Emerge Australia prides itself on acting as a voice for the Australian fashion industry and explains that they have one clear goal in mind: “to create a liberal and dynamic future for fashion design.”

The company works one-on-one with evolving designers and local labels through showcasing their unique designs via runway events, marketing activities, innovative campaigns and creative launches. But that’s not all – Emerge Australia also runs an online shop where they stock emerging designer labels and collections called The Dress Collective, plus they keep readers up-to-date with insider fashion news through their industry news blog, The Fashion Advocate.

One of the much-loved labels Emerge Australia has taken under their wing is Allure Collections, a brand that can be described as being “daring, sophisticated [and] fierce.”

More than just a label containing stylish dresses, however, Allure Collections also holds an inspiring and heart-warming tale behind its creation.

The label’s Design Director, Rebeccah Statham, experienced a childhood which saw her living in exotic and faraway places. Though she was born in New Zealand, Rebeccah and her family eventually moved to places such as Spain, Dubai and Africa, before Rebeccah moved to Australia to pursue University studies.

The Allure Collections website further explains: “At 18 years old she began her degree in Social Science at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, to fulfil her dream of saving Africa. Whilst studying, Rebeccah realized her underlying true passion was making a difference and empowering woman to feel beautiful and to live their dreams fully. It was then she combined her love for fashion, timeless styles, luxury and her drive to make a difference and Allure Collections was born.”

“I want woman to feel strong and empowered when they wear my dresses. Whether we like it or not, what we wear makes an impression and tells a story of who we are and where we want to be,” states the inspiring Design Director.

Allure Collections provides women with stunning garments in a monochromatic colour palette, all designed to flatter and showcase the female form.
