DIY: Washi Tape Borders

020715b

What You’ll Need:

- Washi tape in various colours- Photos, cards, etc (most of mine are from old magazine pages)- Scissors- Blu Tac- A blank wall, obviously

This super thin, Japanese masking tape is the perfect thing for decorating walls if you’re renting or tend to change up your interior décor frequently. It’s also one of my favourite craft supplies of all time, so you’ll definitely see another washi-inspired tutorial here in the future!

The good and bad thing about this tape is that it easily loses its stickiness – good because it comes off the walls so easily, and bad because it will start to peel off if you reapply it after messing up.

This DIY is so simple, it hardly needs steps! All you need to do is pick your photos, stick them to a wall with Blu Tac, and start framing them with your washi tape.

In addition to the colourful frames, I tested out another look – minimal, all-black tape on the corners and the tops. I love them both!
