Of today's series, Chantelle explains: "The idea for the theme was like an exotic traveller, we wanted her to be boho but look like she’s seen the world. After mood boarding the idea I reached out to Renee, an awesome stylist who told me she had an awesome makeup artist who could help. When I cast Mallory, I knew the second I saw her photos she was perfect for it. We turned up to a cold winter beach, and had perfect weather. We worked until the sunset, climbing rocks, dunes and avoiding waves."
We've featured a lovely bridal-inspired shoot from the talented Chantelle before, and now we're stoked to bring you an interview with the Australian photographer!

Q: When did your love of photography first blossom?
A: My love of photography first blossomed when I was 14, and I had to choose High School Elective class, and the choice was Photography or Agriculture. I’ll let you decide which one I chose.
Q: How would you describe your work in just 3 words?
A: Romantic, Natural, and Airy
Q: Please tell us a little more about the experience you had whist capturing these images?
A: It was pretty much fate that the whole team came together, I found Renee online and loved her work, I sent her the concept and she loved it. When it came to finding a model, it was the day I was deciding and Mallory messaged, hoping she wasn’t too late and instantly I said YES.
We all arrived at the beach on a very cold afternoon, and we got to work, we had three outfits we wanted to shoot. I think the highlight would definitely have to be halfway through the shoot, we where just chatting and shooting, when Mallory turns around and said "This is my second ever photo shoot". None of us could believe it, and we’d been praising her the entire time of how awesome she was. I’m still not quite sure I can believe this is only her second shoot.Q: How would you describe an average day in the life of Chantelle?
A: Well as well as photography I am a full time university student and run a graphic design business, so average days are few and far between. I usually spend a lot of time researching, shooting, editing, as well as uni work, and graphic design work.
Q: Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-too-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us?
A: I’m actually in the middle of re-branding my business, with creating beautiful portraits and wedding photography. I’ll be launching my website very soon, I have some exciting shoots planned along the coast.
