Whim Turns 3 Years Old!

Whim Online Magazine Turns 3 (1)

On this day, exactly three years ago, I decided to sign up to Blogger and start my very own blog.

Calling it Whim Online Magazine, I had the goal of one day receiving submissions from talented creatives around the globe, as well as releasing my first ever digital magazine issue.

I'm thankful to say that both of these things were achieved shortly after launching the little blog, and what has happened in the past three years really does, at times, feel like a whirlwind of excitement.

While it feels like this milestone has been quieter than previous years (probably because I'm now riding solo without any interns or contributors!), it feels like a momentous occasion nonetheless...and certainly something that calls for some sweet treats and flowers!

Whim has quietened down a little over the past few months due to a number of reasons - I took an extended break from December to January for some much-needed rest (and laptop-free time!), there's been a longer-than-usual silence between digital magazine issues, and the blog content schedule has reduced from about 10 posts a week to just 5 (phew!).

Despite this, it doesn't mean that Whim is on the back-burner. In fact, it's quite the opposite! A March digital issue is currently being produced and it's going to be pretty special. In order to mark Whim's 3rd birthday, I'm hoping to feature and interview my most favourite blogger (in the world!) - but at the moment I'll be keeping that surprise under wraps :)

The reduced content schedule each week allows readers to tune in every few days (rather than being overwhelmed with multiple articles each day), plus it gives me a chance to put more effort and time into each piece - It's a win-win!

Lastly, I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting Whim over the years - your readership, comments, and social media love has meant the world to me. Here's to many more wonderful years to come!
