Photo Diary: Perennial Hill Garden at Mittagong
Recently I had the pleasure of staying in Berry (on the South Coast of NSW) for a weekend and whilst I was there I took a little day trip to Mittagong to visit Perennial Hill Garden.
I love gardens, but surprisingly haven't really made the effort to visit any of the super impressive open gardens that I've read about online or in magazines.
After researching some of the open gardens near Berry (within an hour drive radius or so) and stumbling upon this beauty in Mittagong, I just knew I had to visit (with my garden-loving Mum in tow!).
We had so much fun wandering around the acreage of beautiful blooms and greenery, and loved the little additions of statues, bird baths, and wooden chairs to sit on along the way.
There's even a small nursery at the front of the property where you can buy plants and decorations for your garden.
Overall, I had such a lovely time exploring Perennial Hill garden and it was easily one of the highlights of my entire weekend away. If you missed the last photo diary post featuring some snaps from the cottage I stayed in at Berry, you can take a look here.
Feel free to also check out more information about the gardens by heading over to the Perennial Hill website or following along on Facebook. Enjoy!
