It's that exciting time of year again when the Etsy Awards are in full-swing to showcase the best independent sellers that Australia and New Zealand have to offer.

From today until 29 April, new and established Etsy sellers across Australia and New Zealand are invited to enter across five categories including Art, Illustration & Papergoods; Home & Living; Fashion & Accessories; Lasting World (for those using environmentally and socially responsible practices) and New Talent (Etsy shop opened within the last 12 months).

The annual competition which aims to discover and showcase the breadth of creative talent on Etsy with prizes designed to help boost their businesses.

This year's Awards boasts an extremely talented and successful bunch of judges, with names such as Founder and editor of The Design Files Lucy Feagins (pictured, above left),  Australian fashion and beauty blogger Sara Donaldson of Harper & Harley, Lifestyle, travel and DIY blogger and author Geneva Vanderzeil of A Pair and A Spare (also pictured, above right), and Etsy’s Managing Director Australia and Asia Helen Souness.

Now for those prizes me previously mentioned! A winner will be selected in each category along with a grand prize Community’s Choice winner voted by the public. Each category winner will take home a $1,000 cash to help them continue to grow their creative business, while the Community’s Choice will win $5,000 and a feature on Etsy’s global blog and social media channels.
