When Mexico-born photographer Adriana Fuentevilla moved to Paris, she got the opportunity to collaborate with a muse she’d been admiring for a long time – vintage style blogger Louise Ebel.

In “Paganism”, Louise cuts a heavenly figure as a playful goddess in peach chiffon, dreaming by the water’s edge and making music in caves.

“One of the things that I like the most about photography is how just one instant frozen in time can carry so much meaning and make us feel so deeply by capturing the essence of the subject.”

Adriana’s portraits are warm, striking and intimate, and often feature a stunning natural backdrop, and work has been featured by Italian Vogue, the BBC and Atlas Magazine. We can’t wait to see more of her work.

Q: When did your love of photography first blossom?

A: I remember being very little and feeling fascinated by photographs my dad took and photos that I saw in magazines. They sparked my imagination and made me want to take cool photographs too. One of the things that I like the most about photography is how just one instant frozen in time can carry so much meaning and make us feel so deeply by capturing the essence of the subject.

Q: What inspires your creativity the most?

A: Inspiration steams from nature, emotions, literature and music that I like, and it also comes from the most unexpected places, such as conversations, the urban landscape or an interesting face. I’m into a lot of things and there’s also so much I dream about doing, such as exploring the ocean and traveling to places near and far, and ultimately it all comes together and makes up who I am and the art that I create.

Q: We adore this beautiful series that you captured with Miss Pandora! Please tell us a little more about the experience you had planning and photographing this shoot?

A: Miss Pandora was one of the first blogs I started following. I love the way she draws inspiration from art and translates that into her outfits, room décor and photoshoots. It had been a dream of mine to one day do a photoshoot with her, which finally came true when I moved to France to live for about a year. There wasn’t really much planning, other than vaguely discussing the concept, the clothes and the location. I was nervous on the day of the shoot but it went really well, our collaboration felt very natural and I hope that it translates into the final photos.

Q: What does an average day in the life of Adriana look like?

A: Every day is different, but my time off is usually spent sewing, reading, watching shows and taking photos for personal projects.

Q: Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography career in the not-too-distant future; do you have any exciting, upcoming plans that you would like to share with us?

A: My latest is an ongoing art series called Imaginary Journeys – I hope to be able to share it soon!
