Gucci’s pre-fall 2016 campaign is a feast for the eyes.

Set in a hip, hazy aviary, this collection is all about colour, edge and flamboyance to give you some serious Christmas party #goals.

Created by the iconic label’s creative director Alessandro Michele, this pre-collection features 70s cool-kid looks with bell-sleeves and berets, outlandish ruffles, embroidery, bold-printed pantsuits and florals to spare.

Sharing its showcase with a handful of live, tottering pink flamingos, it oozes swagger and style but doesn’t take itself too seriously – we can even spot a couple of classic Christmas-style sweaters amongst the mix. Pinks and metallic golds set the dusky tone, including one of our favourites – gold, fingerless arm-length gloves.

If you’re looking for more media with this vibe, give the 2016 dystopian thriller High Rise a watch, for more sprawling, collage-style 70s decadence.
