Inspired by: 'Magic Mountain' from Ming Nomchong
We’re so invested in the rebirth of boho and “Magic Mountain” is serving some desert looks that will be sure to inspire.
Originally shot for online marketplace Bohemian Diesel, Australian photographer Ming Nomchong casts her spell on the desert of Joshua Tree, California.
This is a gloriously cinematic shoot that truly embraces its stunning location. “Magic Mountain” looks like a Western in the making, with Ming’s two muses appearing as carefree partners in crime amongst the rock piles and the dusky pink skeletons of old structures. From the Stetsons and the ornate leather drinking gourd to the romantic Bohemian wardrobe, this shoot has been put together impeccably by stylist Alice Roberts.
For a grand finale, the release of purple smoke adds an otherworldly element, an unnatural magic touch alongside the desert’s sunset colour palette.
