Sydney Event + Giveaway: She Went Wild To Host Women’s Outdoor & Adventure Expo (Dec 2017)

After the success of She Went Wild's first event in November 2016, they're returning for an even bigger and better event for 2017. The event is curated by women, to aid inspiring and empowering more female adventurists; of any age and background.
The Women's Adventure Expo will take place on 3 December 2017 9:30AM - 4:00PM at Howie Complex Sydney Showgrounds. Tickets are available online for $30, with 5% of all ticket sale with be donated to One Girl charity to help fund educational projects for young girls in Africa. You can grab your tickets here!

At the expo, you can expect to find exhibitors from all various kinds of sports and hobbies, from camping, hiking, climbing to cycling. Osprey, CamelBak and Sea to Summit are just a few of the global brands that will showcase their latest releases and favourite female adventure wear.
There’ll also be plenty of workshops happening throughout the day including identifying flora and forage, reducing waste in the outdoors, nature therapy, knowing your knots, cooking outdoors and more. Plus, you can enjoy exciting talks on the stage from seasoned female adventurous talking about their experiences and adventures.
One of the event's speakers includes best-selling Amazon author Heather Ellis, who recently released her book UBUNTU telling the story of her motorcycle odyssey around Africa in the 90’s. Lisa Blair is another guest speaker at the event and she was just awarded the the Spirit of Adventure award at this year’s National Geographic Australia 2017 awards show. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a talk from Lauren Jones who has just completed a 1600km walking expedition the outback with her husband and one year old girl...all within just 3 months.
The event will be an opportunity for consumers and retailers alike to experience developing trends, purchase products, book training courses, and network with others who share the same interests. Guys and families are welcome too, as the expo is a celebration of the outdoors and highlighting female achievements within the industry.
Every day, She Went Wild helps women build up the confidence they need to start their own adventures. The organisation shares practical information and inspirational content with women, along with stage events and workshops to empower its members to say yes to an adventurous lifestyle.
