We're Hiring a Lifestyle / Career Advice Blogger! (Closes 12th Feb)

Whim Online Magazine is a Sydney-based digital magazine and blog with a worldwide audience that celebrates everything whimsical and dreamy – including photography, fashion, art, and more.

In 2018, we’ll be implementing some big and exciting changes, and are looking for a volunteer writer / blogger to contribute to our growing blog!

Because this is a work-from-home position, you can be based anywhere in the world to apply (although being fluent in English is a must!).

Your role will require you to submit just 3 blog posts per month (around 500 – 750 words each) covering topics such as lifestyle and career advice for female creatives (our target audience).

Because this is a role designed to help a budding writer gain experience and build their portfolio, it isn’t essential that you have previous experience in a similar role, although bonus points if you do!

The role will initially be for a 3-month period, with the possibility of long-term work if desired. You will also receive a Letter of Reference and gift card to show our appreciation for your efforts!

We are particularly looking for a writer who shares our love of all things feminine, creative, and whimsical, as well as someone who can meet deadlines and write articles that are inspiring, actionable, and perfect for our target audience.

To apply for this role, please do either of the following:

Share links to your previously-published, related blog posts (i.e. ones that cover creative life or career advice, or show that you have an understanding / love of the topics Whim frequently covers).

OR

Write a sample article (around 500 words is perfect) covering one of the following topics: How to make 2018 your most creative year yet, a creative girl’s guide to collaborating with others, or how to create a digital moodboard to define your success.

Please note: related imagery is not necessary, as we are more interested in your ability to write excellent content, rather than your image-sourcing skills (we can handle the rest!).
