Lou Rota's website sells gorgeous vintage plates and one-off decorative pieces to pretty up any space. The designs are influenced by the artist's "passion for the natural world" and love of "playing with unusual combinations of flora and fauna". 

Lou Rota states, "I’m not really a ceramicist, more of a graphic artist who happens to use ceramics". The idea to transform vintage plates into decorative works of art first came to her when she spotted a pile of plates at a car boot sale. The talented artist couldn't refuse to buy them, and once she had taken them home, she began to discover her unique uses for them.
