Featured Photographer: Daiane Marcon
Daiane Marcon looks to the cherished method of analogue and film cameras to create her beautiful images. A brazilian photographer based on the south near Argentina, Daiane states that she aims to capture the celestial feeling in silence and solitude with her work.
"I love the romantic landscape painters and I try to paint like them using my film camera instead of canvas and brushes," she says, and her dedication is evident in the fact that Daiane also enjoys adding-in colour to her black and white images through the use of watercolour paint (see the first image, for example).
Many of Daiane's photographs showcase the beauty and vastness of the sea, as well as nature and the way in which people interact with their surroundings. Whether they be falling alseep among the soft grass or looking to the sky as though in search of a sign, the talented photographer's work seems to speak volumes.
