Featured RAW Sydney Photographer: Miss Mookie
As kids we are taught to embrace ourselves whole-heartedly, accepting our flaws, quirks and imperfections. Yet somewhere along the way to this mysterious land of 'adulthood', we start to doubt, judge and criticize. We pinch and squeeze and contort our unique souls to the point of obscurity, all in the futile quest for perfection.
However, there are still those who continue to foster their belief in self-love, such as RAW Sydney photographer Miss Mookie. Fearless and fun-loving, Miss Mookie has been combining her love for dress ups, fashion and photography since beginning to shoot professionally in 2008. With some serious skills in retro make-up and hair up her sleeve, this talented lady styles and creates vintage-inspired shoots that are just to die for!
Working with a distinctive retro pop culture aesthetic in mind, Miss Mookie strives to ensure her clients are able to shine in every image. In her own words, this photographer states “I’m all about self belief and would love to inspire others to feel the same. Never one to shy away from getting my hands dirty, I love to learn new skills and rules, just to be able to play the game in my own way.”
