Featured Photographer: Jess Collins of Raven Pictures
At just 23 years of age, photographer Jess Collins has certainly achieved a lot. The young Brisbane based creative has not only had her work exhibited in Australia, but it has also been featured internationally in the Czech Republic and Poland. Add this to the numerous features and extensive photographic education Jess has accumulated, and it isn't hard to see that this is one photographer who is sure to go a very long way.
Jess' website delves into her photography further, stating: "Her work combines a fine-art and commercial approach to create dynamic and eye catching images. Jess plans to travel the world to learn, observe and capture intriguing images that invite her viewers to engage with her work. She also has a passion for portraiture and spends most of her time pursuing this. Her personal work explores the different relationships between the natural environment and human beings to question the ideologies of society and culture and to raise the question 'What is civilization'?"
