Featured Photoshoot: 'Wild Poppy' by Katie Soze
Katie Soze's stunning photoshoot highlights the beauty of 35mm film; it's quirky imperfections, soft haze and brilliant saturation. Katie also captured some of these images with her trusty Polaroid, allowing her to create even more dreamy, ethereal images.
The talented photographer shares the intriguing tale of the shoot, stating: "the shoot was set in the abandoned area of my city which used to be the location of our thriving steel industry before it shut down. The area is now mainly empty, derelict old factories. This was shot in an old car park in that area, which is full of wild flowers like poppies and snap dragons."
Based in Sheffield in the UK, Katie's photographic experience already branches far and wide. She explains: "I work in number of areas from fashion, beauty and portrait to product and catalogue. I have a wide range of experience across model portfolios, private portraits and work for print and web brochures. I've also been published in several editorials and exhibitions."
