Lary Rauh is not your average high school student. The talented teenager not only has a passion for fashion design and blogging, but when she isn’t dedicating time to sketching unique clothing, then she is bringing those sketches to life with needle and thread.

Lary explains: “I always loved painting & drawing, I did both since I was a toddler. One day I saw model patterns, I grabbed them and started drawing clothing on them, my passion was born…Many people told me to sew my designs and about 2 years ago I really began to sew them. I can’t really describe where I get my ideas from. They are created in just one moment, when I see a person, a house, a city or just another thing or creature.”

Lary runs an online shop where she sells her designs, and we cannot help but notice just how ahead of her years this designer is. Her creations ooze elegance and stylish simplicity, and we can easily imagine them one day being showcased on runways around the globe.

Lary’s own style also exudes this same elegant simplicity, and she is often inspired by glamorous, past eras. She states: “My style and designs are inspired by the 50′s & 60′s, Coco Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Bill Kaulitz, Karl Lagerfeld and so many other things and people. People in the 50′s and 60′s had such an elegant modality of dressing and behavior, I think.”
