Looking at the photographs above, you probably wouldn't think that the day began with pelting rain and a small thunderstorm, only to have the sunshine emerge not long after. We had planned this photoshoot ever since this gorgeous dress from Rosegal.com arrived, so were incredibly happy when the weather finally settled down!

Shot at Camellia Gardens in Caringbah, South of Sydney, we thought the vibrant and blossoming Spring flowers served as the perfect backdrop to this floaty, sky-blue dress. Modelled by the lovely Lucinda (Whim's Editorial Assistant) and shot my myself (Melanie), we're very proud of the results and always love a good Whim collaboration :)

We were also very impressed with the quality of this dress, and admit from experience that when a garment is so cheap to purchase, you don't exactly expect quality craftsmanship.
