Whim Online Magazine have been long-time fans of Summerblossom hair accessories after discovering the pretty label at the Sydney Finders Keepers Market, and we're sure you're all familiar with the lovely Nicole Johnson - our Autumn Issue cover model. Therefore, you can imagine our delight upon seeing this amazing collaboration between the pair, also involving the talented Alicia Montgomery Photography, Mi Vida Designs, Bella Rowz and assistant Madhvipa.
Shot in a field overlooking a lake, this shoot can be summed up in just two words - bohemian beauty. We love the ethereal aesthetic of this shoot and the stunning headpieces work perfectly to compliment the soft and dreamy clothing.
Summerblossom's mission is "to provide a beautiful, well-crafted, and locally handmade hair accessories as an alternative to other mass-produced products for the thoughtful consumer." The label was created in 2007, and due to its growing success its lovely products can now be found in selected boutiques all over Australia.
Summerblossom explains: "The Summerblossom girl loves the outdoors, sunshine, picnics, friends, love letters - and, of course, feeling gorgeous as she skips out the door with a little bit of Summerblossom in her hair."
The talented photographer behind these images is Alicia Montgomery and this is also the first time that her work has been featured here on the Whim website. Alicia is a Sydney-based photographer whose portfolio includes everything from fashion shoots to advertising, short films, portraiture, retouching and model portfolios.
